This new flagship branch in Adelaide’s premier shopping destination, Rundle Mall, sets out to make time spent there a more enjoyable experience that is less about transactions and more about the customer. Its concierge style model brings service to the customer and reduces counter based interactions. Instead of waiting in line, customers are invited to make themselves comfortable, enjoy complimentary wifi, and online banking services before being approached by a service team member.

The Premier Lounge warmly welcomes HSBC Premier customers to enjoy the same complimentary services along with a tea or coffee in a comfortable lounge setting. Walnut timber and the vibrant hues of soft furnishings align with HSBC Premier brand. A strong shopfront brand presence successfully engages the 40,000 locals and tourists who visit Adelaide’s iconic shopping precinct every week.  

The finishes selection for the Adelaide flagship is a considered palette that provides a continuation of the flagship branding, while also taking reference from the local context. HSBC Adelaide is contemporary and refined, with warm materials and spectacularly resolved details that echo the level of attention and care provided by HSBC service teams.
