BIENNALE OF SYDNEY 18th March – 5th June 2016 The Biennale of Sydney is Australia’s largest contemporary arts festival, being held every two years throughout various locations across the city. This year marks its 20th occurrence, pulling together a vast number of works from across the globe under the title “The future is already here — it’s just not evenly distributed”. ART MONTH 1st March – 20th March 2016 Art Month is a not-for-profit city wide festival that exhibits contemporary art and artists through a diverse program of exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, artists studio visits, tours, precinct nights and more. This year Art Month celebrates Sydney as an Engine of Creativity and facilitates access to Sydney’s leading and emerging artists. SYDNEY WRITERS FESTIVAL 16th May – 22nd May 2016 Sydney Writers Festival takes place every year at the heritage wharves of Walsh Bay and brings together the best contemporary novelists, screenwriters, musicians and writers of cutting edge nonfiction, and some of the world’s leading public intellectuals, scientists and journalists. The Festival exhibits over 300 events, attracting 100,000 people to the harbour side location and other venues. This year the festival kicks off on the 16th of May with the Best of The Fest event.
