Here’s what we’re really looking forward to seeing this quarter...   NAIDOC WEEK 2 – 9th July 2017 NAIDOC Week is held in the first full week of July. It is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society. We encourage all Australians to participate in the celebrations and activities that take place across the nation during NAIDOC Week. LOCATION: Various Locations MORE: 2017 NAIDOC Week     AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL 9 – 16th July 2017 The Australian International Music Festival is one of our most popular and best attended events. With an average of 900 – 1,300 participants each year we regularly have groups from Australia, China, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and the USA providing a fantastic musical and cultural experience. This Music Festival is open to groups of all types but in particular Wind Bands, Orchestra, Choirs and Jazz Bands. LOCATION: Various Locations MORE: AIMF     FESTIVAL OF THE WINDS 10th September 2017 Australia’s largest kite flying festival, Festival of the Winds, is on again at Bondi Beach. The skies will be full of kites of all sizes and shapes flown by professional local and international kite flyers, whilst below, dance and music from around the world will entertain. LOCATION: Bondi Beach MORE: Festival of the Winds     SYDNEY FRINGE FESTIVAL 1st – 30th September 2017 Sydney Fringe presents over 300 productions in over 50 venues every September, celebrating local artists and encouraging new audiences to experience the independent arts of Sydney in order to build a stronger more sustainable sector. Every night in secret venues across town, Sydney’s artists are conjuring up cultural gems, working tirelessly on their craft and cultivating the cultural heart of our city.
