As part of our ongoing relationship with the Australian Himalayan Foundation, the team at Davenport Campbell attended the AHF Gala last Thursday night at the Sofitel Hotel in Sydney.
The line-up of entertainment included an acoustic performance by special guests Peter Garrett and Martin Rotsey alongside traditional Nepalese dancers. Nepalese mountaineer elder Pertemba Sherpa was the guest speaker who spoke about his mission to make Mt Everest safer with better regulations, organisation and care.
All profits from the evening will fund projects providing assistance to communities in the Himalayas. If you’d like to support re-building schools in Nepal, please visit the AHF website to donate or click here to donate to Climb for Education.
Tom and Ben from our office will be leaving for Nepal in two weeks’ time to participate first hand in the school reconstruction program.
The evening was a great success. We are very happy and proud to support to the AHF and provide assistance to help rebuild Nepalese communities.
