Macquarie Asset Services appointed Davenport Campbell to reinvent the podium levels of 68 Pitt Street, a building consisting of 26 storeys which was last refurbished in 1994. The objective of the refurbishment was to redefine the entry to the tower block, reinvent the retail spaces on Hunter and Pitt Streets to give them maximum exposure, and to refurbish the office areas on Level 1 and 2.
Additional floor space was added to the retail space on Pitt Street by extending the glass line to the property boundary whilst additional floor space was created by extending the office entry to the footpad.
